Intended Use

Human Papillomavirus Genotyping Kit for 23 Types (PCR-Reverse Dot Blot) is a qualitative test for genotyping detection of DNA for 23 HPV types in cervical specimens including 17 high risk (HR) HPV and 6 low risk (LR) HPV.

• High-risk HPV types: 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 53, 56, 58, 59, 66, 68, 73, and 82.

• Low-risk HPV types: 6, 11, 42, 43, 81, and 83.

The use of this test is indicated:

1. As an initial screening test for general population.

2. For the genotyping of 17 HR HPV types, and to identify women with increased risk for the development of cervical cancer.

3. For the genotyping of 6 LR HPV types, showing causal factor for genital warts.
